Delete your Tadabox account
When you delete your account, your account and everything you made are deleted for good. This cannot be undone.
In the app (right away)
- Open the Tadabox app.
- Tap the circle with your initial at the top right (Account and settings).
- Tap Delete account, tick the confirmation box and tap Permanently delete my account.
Your account is deleted at that moment, and the links you sent close at the same time.
Without the app
If you have removed the app, write "Please delete my account" to support@tadabox.app from the email address of the Google account you used with Tadabox. To be sure the account is yours, we act only on requests from that address. We delete your account within 7 days and let you know.
What is deleted
- Your account: your name, email address and profile picture address
- Everything you sent, drafts included: messages, names, invitation details
- All your photos
- Your guests' replies and notes
- Your sessions (you are signed out on every phone)
What is kept
- Payment records (if you sent a paid gift: order number, item, date) are kept for 5 years because tax law requires it; they are no longer linked to you or to what you sent.
- Your Google Play purchase history stays with Google; you manage it in your Google account.
- Server security records are deleted automatically within 15 days.
